What are Pimples (acne)?

Pimples mainly affects on the face, back side, chest and shoulders. Acne mainly affects the sebaceous glands. The sebaceous glands are inside the skin and work to produce sebum. When the outer covering of the skin comes in contact with the oily sebum, acne or pimples form on the face.

It can occur at any age and is usually a reddish swelling called pimple or pimple. In fact, it is more commonly seen in teenagers. When your skin is thicker, the amount of pimples is more. Most of the girls or women get such pimples during their menstrual period. Acne can be caused by hormonal changes, as well as by excessive sebaceous glands.

Why do I get Pimples ? What are the Reasons?

1. Puberty

As we discussed above, the incidence of pimples during adolescence is higher because the body goes through hormonal changes. It is most common in girls between the ages of 10 and 14 and boys between the ages of 12 and 16. At this age, the sebaceous glands become more active and cause pimples. According to WebMD, 80% of young people suffer from acne.

2. Pollution

Pollution is also one of the biggest causes of damage to your skin. Of course, even if pollution is not one of the major causes of acne, the dust and dirt coming from the air on your face closes the pores on the skin and thus damages the skin. Not only that, but the layer of natural oils that take care of your skin is also on your skin, this air pollution is unbalanced and causes acne or pimples.

3. Bad or unhealthy eating habits

Your daily eating habits are also important. Do you ever observe that changes in your skin when you eat chips/chiwda or oily snacks every day? You never know In fact, stick to your regular diet without eating junk food for a month and then you will notice the difference in your skin. Some of these are not always mentioned in a magazine or in fashion, but also for scientific reasons. Some substances have the ability to make oil by producing insulin in your glands, which results in the appearance of pimples on the face

4. Tension/ Depression or Stress

Do you realize that pimples appear on your face on the day before a big event or even on the day before an exam? This is not just about you. A 2013 Stanford University study found that sebum causes your follicles to close and stress causes pimples on your face. It also shows that you are under some kind of stress or tension.

5. Hormonal Imbalance

During adolescence, your body goes through hormonal changes. This situation often occurs even after your twenties. Hormonal acne appears on your body as androgen levels rise. This is also the reason for the high production of sebum, which also causes pimples. For women, hormonal changes usually occur during their menstrual cycle. What is a Fever?

Most people fall ill as soon as the weather changes. Here, in this article we will discuss below what are the Natural Home remedies for a fever 2020.
Fever occurs when your body temperature rises above normal, usually in response to body infection. This is why people sometimes call fever as ‘temperature.’

It is actually not caused by an infection/ disease you have caused, but are a part of your body’s immune system response, and are signs that your body is working to improve itself. You may get fever if you have a virus-like illness such as influenza, or bacterial infection.

Natural Home remedies for a Fever 2020

What is a normal human body temperature??

The ‘normal’ human body temperature is 98.6 °C or 36°C / 37°C, but this value is subject to slight variation depending on the age of the individual.

As you enter late adulthood, your core temperature drops slightly below the standard degree. The ageing process reduces your body’s ability to regulate temperature efficiently as it did during the younger years. As you get older, your body becomes less capable of producing enough heat to maintain normal body temperature.

Similarly, it is normal for infants to experience frequent fluctuations in their body temperature, which can plummet to 36 °C during nighttime sleep and rise to 37.8 °C, during periods of increased activity or post-feeding.

How to take (measure) the temperature?

Body temperature is measured with the help of an instrument called a thermometer.

These days, thermometers are digital devices that show the temperature on a screen. In the olden days, thermometers used a substance called mercury to measure temperature, but now these thermometers are not used in hospitals nor sold to the public.

A digital thermometer is best for taking temperature by the armpit and mouth.
Fever strips and pacifier thermometers do not give an exact temperature. Do not use mercury thermometers. Mercury is toxic and thermometers may break.

If you have any questions when purchasing a thermometer, talk to a pharmacist. A pharmacist can help you select the best type of thermometer for the method, you use.
Whichever thermometer you use, clean them (except soap thermometer) with clean, soapy water and rinse before, and after use.

What are the signs, and symptoms of fever?

The signs, and symptoms of fever depend on the cause. In some infections such as urinary infections, malaria or flu, a fever with shivering may be associated with a chill. Tremors produce heat in the body, and hence body temperature increases.

When the temperature goes down again, the person may start sweating. Other symptoms associated with fever are,

Head aches
Weakness or fatigue
Body pain
Sore throat.
Chills, shivering
Elevated temperature (above 100.4 degrees).
Hot/ warm skin.

What are the side effects of fever?

Fever is rarely harmful, but can make you feel uncomfortable. Ironically, when your temperature is rising, you may get cold or shiver while your temperature drop can make you sweat. Some side effects of fever are,

Tiredness and fatigue
Head ache
Heart rate relatively slow compared to high fever (pulse-temperature dissolution),
Stomach ache (stomachache),
Loss of appetite.

Sometimes there are swelling, tightening or other changes in muscle or blood vessels that stimulate or exert pressure on the surrounding nerves. These nerves send a rush of pain messages to the brain, and brings on a headache.
